Recognisable from Alexandra FNC as the 2017 A grade coach. Latoya Wards has made the move to Kinglake for 2018 and will be seen Coaching B grade and playing in the A grade side. Latoya has played in the AFL Yarra Ranges for the past 2 years and had the opportunity to represent the league in the Interleague team in 2017 as well as making the Div 2 team of the year. Latoya has played in the GVFNL, O&KFNL, Australian Univeristy Games, Melbourne Premierleague Div 1 and continues to play in the Northern FNL across Div 1 & 2.
Latoya has a wide range experience in coaching from primary school tournaments, across all grades as well as taking her University to Nationals with both Mixed and women’s with great results. Latoya aims to focus on improving players individually as well as introducing new drills and systems to Kinglake to help them go one step further in the finals for 2018. Latoya is a massive asset to the club so let’s give her a warm welcome into the Laker family!
