Once again the KFNC have pulled off a massive recruiting coup for our ANZAC Day clash against Yea @ the Kingdome.
In 2015, former Collingwood and Fremantle superstar, Chris Tarrant will pull on the famous green and gold jumper.
Tarrant had a decorated career that included winning All-Australian selection (2003), the AFL mark of the year (2003), Collingwood leading goal kicker awards (2001-2005) and the big one, the ANZAC Day medal (2001).
‘Taz’ will train with the boys on the Thursday night before the game and stay after the game to mingle with the crowd.
On the day, there will be ANZAC observances including the Last Post and firing of the guns. The club is also putting on an ANZAC Day luncheon in the rooms with a special guest from the Essendon FC (TBA) there to speak about the magic of ANZAC Day football.
